Abstract | The initial cell search process played an important role during the operation of the downlink signal estimation operation between the user equipment (UE) and the base station. Because cell search procedures are necessary, which entail synchronizing with time and frequency as well as determining the cell ID before obtaining information about the system and other data from the cell and the significance of those data, cell search algorithms must be effective and straightforward computing techniques with a good impact on battery life and the capability to communicate to the network with a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The research project on floating-point implementation of NR cell searching technique is being studied to take advantage of it in the future. This research was done by creating a model environment similar to a station broadcast and developing a primary synchronization signal algorithm (PSS), offset frequency estimation algorithm (OFEA), and secondary synchronization signal algorithm (SSS) that are easy and efficient to analyze on a computer with MATLAB software. |
