Abstract | Solar energy is converted into electricity through photovoltaic modules, and today the most popular types of solar panels are Mono Crystalline Silicon solar cell and Poly Crystalline Silicon solar cell. However, both types of solar panels have advantages and disadvantages for Mono Crystalline Silicon solar cell It is small in size, although the power output is equivalent in watts, but it is deficient in temperature compared to Poly Crystalline Silicon solar cell. In particular the design of large solar farms, there is no study on the effectiveness of the use of both types of solar panels, which type of solar panels are more effective in the installation. The temperature of each region. Therefore, this study was also conducted to compare the effectiveness of two types of solar panels, Mono Crystalline Silicon solar cell and Poly Crystalline Silicon solar cell in the design of 1-hectare solar plantation under national temperature conditions Cambodia. As a result, we can conclude that mono crystalline solar cell is suitable for installations that produce more than 5.71% energy in one year. |
