Abstract | In the field of power generation, numerous issues must be addressed, one of these issues is Economic Loa Dispatch (ED). Researchers are actively working to tackle this problem in order to meet energy demand with high efficiency. Economic Loa Dispatch (ELD) is a critical matter that needs resolution in order to minimize the cost of electricity generation, ultimately reducing the cost of elec-tricity produced by fuel. Various theories have been proposed by researchers to address specific ELD challenges. In this research, the utilization of Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) Algorithm method to address the Economic Loa Dispatch (ELD) problem. The methodology is tested through MATLAB simulation, evaluating two distinct scenarios based on the IEEE 3 consisting of three generators and the IEEE 5 generators. In the first case, utilizing the IEEE three generators, the total power, the total cost amounts to $22749.577. In the second case, applying the method to the IEEE 5 generators, the total cost amounts to $18648.17. |
