Abstract

The analysis for tendon distribution condition in prestress slab is essentially important for the efficiency and safety in comparison. Actual load calculation and verification was based on ACI and PTI code to find suitable solution for applicable slab type to pursue both economic, safety and sustainable rigidity of building.
For the topic research, the analysis and calculation of tendon distribution based on ACI and PTI standard code which classify into two classification of tendon distribution: (Banded-Distributed Tendon and Distributed-Distributed Tendon Layout) was defined. To enhance the analysis of the prestress slab under the two Classification, we use ADAPT BUILDER 2019 was used.
Based on the researched result, under initial/transfer stage, the deflection of prestress slab using distributed-distributed tendon layout system is larger than that using banded-distributed tendon layout system. However, under service/working stage load and long term deflection, the deflection of prestress slab using distributed-distributed tendon layout system is almost the same as that using banded-distributed tendon layout.
Therefore, for prestress slab calculation, the banded-distributed tendon layout system due to its low deflection would be desired.
