Abstract | The usage of natural light as an inexhaustible source of energy is widely used in public and private architectural structures to provide acceptable living conditions and reduce daily energy expenses. The utilization of light is classified into two main categories: artificial energy (Active Energy) and natural energy (Passive Energy). Methods of extracting natural light through window types, reflections, color types, building orientation, site analysis, and the study of the sun’s movement are important strategies for utilizing natural light. The usage of renewable energy is a factor that contributes in promoting the reduction of environmental affects, especially global warming that the world is currently experiencing. These include wind, water, geothermal energy, and solar energy. Through the design above, the usage of light achieves satisfactory results. |
