Abstract | This project focuses on how to design and implement LQR Controller for con-trolling speed and position of DC motor by using Arduino microcontroller as central pro-cessing core. The close loop method is used for design and experiment. In this project, the hardware interconnected is used to improve the experiment such as 50w DC motor, Ar-duino Uno, 120w Driver motor and others. The MATLAB SIMULINK is used to design, Simulate, and code deployment in this work. Through the project, it can be concluded that the LQR controller is the most suitable and flexible control algorithm for controlling speed and position of DC motor even though it has some noise from the feedback sensor. |
