Abstract | Anaerobic digestion is a technology that produce biogas from biomass. This paper presents a review on the biogas production from different substrate with co-digestion such as food waste, cow dung, food waste with cow dung, wetland grass with cow dung, food waste with cow and pig dung, and food waste with chicken dung. Operating parameters effecting biogas product such as types of substrate, operation temperature, pH, mixing ratio, Hydraulic retention time, and C/N ration, and different types of substrates with biogas output are included in the paper. In conclusion, using co-digestion with Mesophilic process temperatures between 26 oC to 32 oC, the pH range of 7 to 8.5 along with a mixing ratio of 1:1 and a C/N ratio of 9-25:1 makes biogas production more productive. |
