Abstract

Electric power currently is a vital power for worldwide human kinds who necessarily need to utilize. Electric power is also a boosting indicator to all field developments, so researchers have tried to research other sources which can produce electricity such as: Hydro energy, Solar energy, Nuclear energy, Gas energy, Fossil energy, Biomass energy etc. Cambodia is an agricultural nation having potential biomass for producing bio fuel or bio energy.
The world has recently focused on development and green energy consumption to reduce environment effects; particularly, the climate change. According to the research and calculation on potential biomass in 2019 in Cambodia, it indicates that the energy from biomass such as: husk, straw, cattle’s feces in estimated total of 278.13 GW from 1.619 GW of straw electricity power, 1.000 GW of husk, 229.556 GW of Cow’s feces and 45.955 GW of Buffalo’s feces. The result shows that scale of the potential biomass in Cambodia can produce large scale of electricity, but the scale of the electricity produced from biomass is estimated 30.57 MW in 2021. Consumption of the biodigester, Fixed dome plant to produce bio gas from cattle’s feces has high output up to 5694.738 GW.
