Abstract | Energy wastage is one of the most frequently asked questions today, especially among technicians. Based on rising fuel prices and natural variations affecting GHGs emission caused by combustion of fossil fuels. At the same time, we see many way in which technology can capture the energy that is being thrown away. There is a device called a Thermoelectric Generator that is capable of collecting renewable energy through a power boost system as a source of free energy for the actual needs of the heat emitted by the combustion. This thesis focuses on the use of thermoelectric cooler as a thermoelectric generator to generate the largest capacitance current of 0.28A with a voltage of 15.3V from 8 TEC1-12706 package assembled in two series. 4 pieces on each side and connect the two components together to get 4.3W power. This power is passed though the boost converter with the output resistor generating current and voltage sensor using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method based on perturb and observe (P&O) technology. |
