Abstract

This paper addressed about calculation of the deflection of reinforced concrete beams under concentrated load in mid span using different standards such as Russian code and ACI standard, compared with actual beam test result and the result of calculation in computer program ANSYS. As a result, it showed that, when compared with actual beam test result and different standard such as Russian code and ACI stand-ard and computer program ANSYS got result of calculation different value is slightly biased. The result of deflection by Russian standard compared with actual beam test were different 8.47%, Compared between ACI Code and actual beam test were different 5.18% and compared the result of calculation deflection in ANSYS were different 6.48%. However, the results different less than 10% that permitted for these values.
