Abstract | MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is a powerful and useful electronic device that used to convert the energy from the sun for every day using from the past until now. All MPPT devices are use to manage the sun ray for the conversion to the electrical power for daily usage. In this project we pick up the maximum power point of the sun ray by using two methods, such as Incremental Conductance (IC) and Perturb and Observe (P&O) to calculate the maximum power point from PV system for designing the circuit of MPPT controller to observe the stability of output voltage. MATLAB/ SIMULINK are used as an assistance tool for the calculation and experimental the designed MPPT controller. To get the better result the MPPT controller is designed by using the PID (Proportional Integral Derivative). The difference between IC and P&O Controller is [1,2] in IC controller proportional gain is a part of Increment Reference Voltage current (I/V) and P&O controller proportional gain is a part of Increment Reference Power voltage (V/P). PID controllers is used to calculate the maximum power point from the PV System. |
