Abstract | This study investigates the effect of hyperstatic caused by balancing load on the column, prestressing tendon was analyzed by modeling it in a 3D structure. To verify the column strength, the internal forces were performed in ETABS software through Nonlinear Static P-Delta on the two models where the first one, hyperstatic reaction is excluded and second one, hyperstatic reaction is included. The column shortening was conducted by ETABS software via Nonlinear Staged Construction excluding material nonlinearity. The results from this research paper have shown that the hyperstatic reaction has significantly affected the internal force of column, and this effect varied based on the studied load case. The value of column shortening, on the other hand, differed between SCA Time Dependent, SCA No Time Dependent and One-Staged Analysis. The amount of column shortening oc-curred somewhere around 2/3 of total structure height. |
