Abstract

Study on Fast Charging for Mobile battery with constant current - constant voltage, it is a project that is getting a lot of attention for Smartphone technology today. It can show the greatness of mobile phone charging with high voltage and current stability, which has the ability to speed up the charging of mobile phones. In this project, to convert power from 220Vac to 5Vdc-3A, we used two types of circuits: Step 1 (Stage1) AC-DC fly back converter and Step 2 (Stage2) DC-DC Buck Converter. The first step is just to convert the power from a high voltage 220 V of alternating current to voltage with direct current (5V-3A), it is not yet capable of supplying a constant current to charge mobile phone battery. To accelerate charging in the short or fast term, we need to add an auxiliary circuit to increase the capacity of the charger, which uses a technology called CC-CV (current stabilization, voltage stabilization).
Constant Current- Constant Voltage (CC-CV) is a technology that can convert power from high voltage Direct current to low voltage Direct Current (DC-DC Buck Converter) and can keep stable voltage and output current to Charge the cell phone battery. In this project, to prove the charging capacity of the circuit to the mobile phone battery. We used another way to show the data and battery storage characteristics of the battery via CC-CV and Float Charger. CCCV and Float Charger is a data that can confirm the true characteristics of the battery charging and all types of batteries effectively.
