Abstract | Mechanical Behavior is important for researcher because we need them to determine how strength of the material can be used and for calculation the structure. The 6060 Aluminum Alloy is a better one of Engineering Alloy. It’s necessary in daily life to use in the Automotive industry and transport because it has a good quality of property such as light weight, high strength, high thermal and electrical conductivities, non-magnetic and others excellent behavior. Purpose of research is to show how we experiment to obtain mechanical behavior using UTM plus numerical method (EXCEL or MATLAB) to find more necessary behaviors that can’t be use UTM alone. Moreover, we used the Universal Testing Machine (UTM) with a simple shape of alloy for an experiment to get the aluminum properties and data fitting in MS Excel was used to predict correlation between equation value and experimental data in isotropic hardening (Voce’s Law). The result of experiment studies is about the standard of Tensile Test methodology, basic value of 6060 alloy and material’s constant value of isotropic hardening law (Voce’s Law). Conclusion, the ways of methodology of these experimental are the most important to understanding on mechanical properties. Experimental and calculated data based on Voce hardening law, it was demonstrated that this model leads to a good description and identification of the behavior of the aluminum 6060 alloy in the uniaxial test. |
