Abstract | Economic load dispatch (ELD) has played an important role in the study of power supply (Load Demand). The main purpose of ELD implementation is to minimize the generator fuel cost. Several theories have been proposed to address the ELD problem. Novel Bat Algorithm (NBA) is a method that studies the movement, life and foraging of bats. Also in this research, the NBA is a problem-solving approach (ED) using the Quadratic Cost Function Equation to simulate in MATLAB. To find the best solution for Novel Bat Algorithm (NBA), in this article also tested on 6 Bus system with 3 generators and on 26 Bus system with 6 generators. as a result of the ELD study using the Novel Bat Algorithm (NBA) in the first case, the total power generation cost was 2693$/ hr. In the second case, the total energy production cost is 1539.00$/hr. |
