Design of an Electric Vehicle System’s Converter Based on an LLC Resonant Converter
—
by
This research studies the design of an LLC Resonant Converter for EV Systems. For this voltage converter circuit, use the PI Control method to select the type of circuit, Half-Bridge Switching and Full-Wave Rectifier. The implementation of this voltage con-version circuit uses Matlab for Simulation to assist in the design. In this experiment, the receiver…

Computer Controlled Electronic Watt-hour Meter Via RF
—
by
In Cambodia today, the demand for electricity continues to grow every day. The man-agement, maintenance, and use of electricity are becoming more complex. Electricity billing systems still rely on people to record electricity consumption, and it becomes a difficult task to manage electricity consumption. In addition, human error has created customer dissatisfaction and could open…

Comparison of Effectiveness of M-Shape Mounting Structure and Shadow Length Analysis in Solar farm Design in Cambodia
—
by
Seeing the impact of using non-renewable energy sources such as oil, gas, coal, which is causing a continuous impact on the environment after day to day, turning to renewable energy sources is. Very interesting, especially solar energy sources. Solar energy is converted into electricity through the Photovoltaic Module. However, as for how to install the…

Structural Design and Control of Swerve Drive Mechanism for Mobile Robot
—
by
Swerve Drive Robot is a type of robot where each wheel does not depend on each turn in any direction and can move in any position (forward, backward, left, right and around itself). The robots studied are mobile robots, traction and mobility platforms [1], so there are a number of issues related to movement control, balance…

Implementation of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) Technique for Position Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM)
—
by
This paper presents the implementation of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) technique for precise position control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). FOC is a sophisticated control strategy widely adopted for its effectiveness in enhancing the performance of PMSM-based systems. The proposed implementation leverages the inherent advantages of FOC to achieve accurate positioning by decoupling the motor’s…

Heading Control of Omni Mobile Robot Base-on Fuzzy PID
—
by
This paper discusses the implementation of a heading control system for an Omni mobile robot using Fuzzy PID control. The system is designed to improve the accuracy and stability of the robot’s movement by adjusting its heading in real-time with MATLAB Sim-ulink. The Fuzzy PID controller is used to make real-time adjustments to the robot’s…

A Study of Thermal Economic Dispatch Using Hybrid Big Bang – Big Crunch (HBB-BC) Algorithm
—
by
In the field of power generation, numerous issues must be addressed, one of these issues is Economic Dispatch (ED). Researchers are actively working to tackle this problem in order to meet energy demand with high efficiency. Economic Dispatch (ED) is a critical matter that needs resolution in order to minimize the cost of electricity generation,…

A Study of Different Methods for Predicting Deflections of Reinforced Concrete Beams
—
by
This paper addressed about calculation of the deflection of reinforced concrete beams under concentrated load in mid span using different standards such as Russian code and ACI standard, compared with actual beam test result and the result of calculation in computer program ANSYS. As a result, it showed that, when compared with actual beam test…

A Study on the Capacity of Wide RC Beams
—
by
Computation of strength capacity of wide reinforced concrete (RC) beams was studied. Four design codes, ACI 318M-08, Eurocode 2-2004, AASHTO-2005, and CSA-2004, were adopted and used for the calculation. The computed results obtained from these codes were also compared with experimental results conducted by researchers, Khalil et al. (2019), and Shuraim (2012).
